MTX motorcycle sound bar

MTX Audio will release a new sound bar for motorcycles and UTVs August 1-9 at the annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in Sturgis, SD.

The new patent pending sound bar sits between the handle bars in a motorcycle that has no fairing, or in ATVs or UTVs. It has built in Bluetooth and front controls for volume, track, source, and power.  It also includes dual 2″ x 3″ full range speakers and four 1″ tweeters for high volume even in windy conditions. Called the MUDHSB-B, it is constructed of all-weather materials.

It will be joined by two all-weather mini amplifiers for motorcycles and powersports vehicles. Both are class D models with high and low level inputs as well as integrated crossovers.

The MUD100.4, four-channel amp produces 100 watts/channel at 2 ohms and measures 6.52″ x 5.51″ x 1.86.”  The MUD50.2 produces 50 watts/channel at 2 ohms and measures only 3.64″ x 2.85″ x 1.73.” MTX will also release new 2-channel and 4-channel direct connect harnesses that work with select Harley Davidson motorcycle models.
Also on view at MTX’s booth at Sturgis will be 6″x9″ and 7″x10″ saddlebag lids from Dirty Bird Concepts and MTX personal audio products. They will be displayed at the corner of Lazelle and 2nd Streets.
