Concept is now shipping its next generation Chameleon headrests with built in video monitors. The new line adds built in Miracast-like technology for wireless streaming of movies, YouTube videos and more from a smartphone or tablet to the headrest display.
The system uses a WiFi connection to stream content and it works with both Android and iOS devices.
The line also features a new sleeker cosmetic design.
One of the new models, the BSS-905M, comes with a 9 inch touch screen with backlit LED. It includes WiFi streaming or “screen casting” and 3 covers in varying colors. It comes with two AV inputs, wireless remote at a suggested $489. A step up version with built-in DVD player has a suggested retail price of $599.
