Advanced Marketing & Distribution is holding a training seminar on OEM integration open to all dealers in Southern CA, which it claims is a first of its kind event.
The two-day seminar in Orange County will feature speakers from NAV-TV, Compustar, Audison, Maestro, Todd Ramsey Consulting, D’Amore Engineering, and Sirius/XM.
The format includes both classroom and hands-on training. “We’re going to do a hands on OEM integration training with 7 or 8 vehicles. So if there’s a problem with the 2015 Dodge Pickup, we’ll say, here’s the truck, here’s the problem and here’s the solution. Go do it,” said Rob Wempe of Advanced Marketing, adding, “It’s never been done before.
“The industry is changing at a very fast pace. OEM integration is not just audio, it has grown to include many categories including driver safety products like cameras, back up sensors, steering wheel controls and navigation,” Wempe continued. “… This is a vital training to stay on top of the products that can be added to today’s new vehicles.”
