Mobile Electronics Group announced that its  KnowledgeFest Spring Training 2015, held last month in Indianapolis attracted 30 manufacturer exhibitors and over 480 attendees from 33 states.

The spring event joins the Dallas KnowledgeFest that is held each summer and will take place August 15-18 this year at the Hilton Anatole.

“We added Indy as a second KnowledgeFest for three reasons,” said Chris Cook, President of Mobile Electronics. “First, manufacturers weren’t seeing many dealers from east of the Mississippi in January [at CES]; second, to maintain their competitive edge, 12-volt specialists want and need training and education; and, early April is a great time to deliver training on new products manufacturers are just starting to ship.”

For the event in August, KnowledgeFest will feature a keynote speaker at the annual town hall meeting. Tim Parenti, president of MVP Dynamics, will address the topic of ‘Attitude – The Power to Direct or Misdirect.’ The keynote is sponsored by K40.

Mobile Electronics has also issued a “call for speakers.” For those wanting to be part of the KnowledgeFest conference program, go to knowledgefest.org/call-for-speakers. For more information and to register to attend, please visit knowledgefest.org.
