NAV-TV announced the release of the Jaguar F-Type Cam– a rear and front view camera safety integration solution that allows the display of aftermarket cameras onto the vehicle’s factory monitor.
The Jaguar F-Type Cam interface is 100 percent plug-and-play, requiring no modification to the vehicle wiring. No dealership coding is required and the Jaguar F-Type camera will not affect the vehicle’s factory electrical warranty.
With the interface, the rear view camera image is automatically displayed on the factory LCD screen whenever the vehicle is placed into reverse and both front and rear view cameras can be activated in any gear and at any speed through the factory Jaguar touch screen monitor. (Front and rear cameras are not included).
For ease of installation, the Jaguar F-Type CAM provides two 12 volt +, 1 amp outputs to power the aftermarket cameras. For passengers, the interface also unlocks all the factory functions of the Jaguar infotainment system such as DVD, USB and Navigation destination entry.

“Back-over and Front-over accidents accounted for more than half of all non traffic related automotive fatalities in 2013.
