VOXX Electronics is offering an advanced plug & play aftermarket solution for the F-150 that allows dealers to add navigation and HDMI to existing 8-inch screens with Ford MyTouch Sync.
The interface adds iGo Next Gen navigation to the factory radio using on-screen icons and a matching user interface. Users get upgradable maps of the US and Canada.
The system also includes displayed OBD information such as fuel economy, door open/close, engine oil temp, and other available data depending on the vehicle. The interface also offers an HDMI input which allows users to connect and mirror smartphone content on the head unit, while also offering charging capabilities.
Called the Advent Integrated Navigation (EXPNAV2) system, it also adds 12 band equalization.
It is available now and also fits other 2015 models such as the Explorer and Mustang.
