JVC Mobile showed at CES 2015 a new top of the line AV car audio receiver with simplified one-touch access to apps on a smartphone.
The new KW-V51BT has a 7-inch touch screen with an HDMI/MHL connection to let Android users view and interact with apps from the phone on the larger radio display. iPhone users get a similar ability with a JVC app for iPhone.
JVC’s Android app has been improved this year for quicker access to navigation, music and other apps on a smartphone.
The KW-V51BT offers built-in Pandora and iHeartRadio when used with a phone. It is SiriusXM ready and offer Siri Eyes Free mode for voice control for an iPhone.
The radio also is FLAC compatible. It ships in March at $569.95 suggested retail price.
