MTX Audio introduced a Bluetooth remote controller at $99 that works with any aftermarket amplifier to allow Bluetooth audio streaming from a smartphone or tablet directly through the amplifier, without the need for a head unit.
It comes with mounting cup so it can mount as a flush or surface mount device and its rated iP6 water resistant.
It can be used in power sports vehicles or for classic cars, where you may not want to upgrade the radio. It is expect to ship around April.
MTX also introduced a universal Bluetooth soundbar with audio streaming for powersports vehicles.
The MUD6SPBT includes four all-weather 3-inch drivers and two 1-inch tweeters connected to an internal amplifier.
It fits on roll cages with diameters from 1.25″ to 2.25.” An included wiring harness offers power, ground, and accessory wire for connection to the vehicle’s audio system.
“Many 12-volt customers have ORVs [off road vehicles] or boats, and a product like this gives our mobile audio retailers the opportunity to sell them additional products and installation to make their other vehicles sound as good as their primary vehicle,” said MTX National Sales Manager Jason Fickas.
