Directed is showing at CES newly designed transmitters for its Python brand remote starters.

The new transmitters include Python’s thinnest to date–an LCD model with 20 percent larger buttons and reduced components for 40 percent less clutter.  They also use a micro USB charging port.

A second model is also ultra thin, and features an LED screen with the same larger buttons.

The two models each  have one mile of operating range and are available now.

Directed also announced that its Directechs app is now Android compatible and has launched officially at the CES Show.  The Directechs app is designed by installers, for installers, allowing techs to wireless program vehicles from a phone or tablet, freeing them from the need to use a computer.   Features include car lookup, SmartStart activation, and hardware programming, as well as discussion forums and troubleshooting.
