InstallerNet announced it has teamed with PlumChoice to offer an Internet of Things service that helps consumers install and also buy, use and integrate many new Internet-connected devices for the car and home.

The service was unveiled at CES this week as a means to help consumers buy and set up complex Internet connected products.

“An overwhelming number of connected devices will be announced this week, but there’s a critical piece missing from these conversations: Who will help consumers install, configure, use and interconnect these innovations?” said Paul Weichselbaum, Executive VP of PlumChoice, a technical services provider.

The new Internet of Things (IoT) program is designed to help guide consumers through the purchasing of products, and provide both “Do it for me” (DIFM) and “Do it yourself” (DIY) installation. It will also provide product usage training, and integration with other products as well as ongoing technical support.

IntsallerNet and PlumChoice say they will free suppliers from dealing with these consumer issues “so they can focus on product innovation and incubation.”

PlumChoice is joining InstallerNet at CES booth #2102 in the North Hall. To schedule a meeting or demo visit ConnectedLifestyleServices.com.
