GROM Audio announced it will show at CES an HD radio upgrade dongle for use with GROM add on interfaces.
The new QRadio (QuartzRadio) Dongle works with the GROM-USB3 and GROM-BT3 interfaces to bring HD radio’s improved sound, and extra channels to a factory radio.
The plug and play dongle also allows for controlling media from the steering wheel controls.
Currently, over 2,000 radio stations are broadcasting nationally.
The GROM-USB3 adds Android phone capability and USB to a car radio and the GROM-BT3 adds Bluetooth and optional iPhone capability to a car radio.
The QRadio dongle will be on display at CES at the iBiquity HD Radio booth 8232 in Las Vegas, January 6-9.

This sounds like a great idea. I am surprised there is no retail price listed…
