VALPARAISO, IN–Car audio retailer Cartronix launched its 3rd annual “Coats for Kids” drive, collecting coats for the local Hilltop Neighborhood house.
Over the past two years, the shop has collected over 1,250 coats.
Customers who donate a coat may receive $25 off of a remote starter until December 1.
Eric Carter from Cartronix stated, “It’s all about helping the unfortunate children in the community and helping them stay warm so they can enjoy outdoor social and educational activities, waiting for the bus or family trips.” He also added, “If you make the time to dig out old coats in your closets and drop them off to us, we want you to stay warm also.”
Cartronix is also accepting adult coats, scarves, hats, boots and gloves that anyone can use.
The Hilltop Neighborhood House has offered many valuable resources for the children and families since 1995.
