Crux Interfacing Solutions announced the release of its latest WiFi Audio / Video Integration kit that allows smartphone mirroring on a factory radio.
The new kit is for 2014-2015 Cadillac and General Motors radios. It permits smartphone mirroring via a CRUX WiFi connection to the OEM screen for a “wireless visual experience.”
It is compatible with both MyLink and CUE radio systems.
Called the WVIGM-04M interface, it includes built-in video-in-motion capability for adding onscreen navigation from smartphones to the car radio screen. It works with both Apple iOS and Android devices.
CRUX is also releasing a new VIMGM-94M Interface for the same vehicles, which unlocks the factory screen for VIM capability.
Both interfaces began shipping this week.
