The Mobile Electronics Specialists of America (MESA) buying/marketing group held its annual meeting in Denver over the weekend attended by 19 vendors and most of the group’s over 100 retail members.

Seminars were held on topics such as “How to Be Successful in Window Tint,” “Racetrack Selling,”  Black Friday, expediter sales and making money on accessories.

Suppliers held round table discussions with retailers as shown below and MESA presented awards to  vendors and retailers  for participation in the group, which represents about $230 million in collective revenues.

Hertz (Elettromedia) won the vendor award for “Online Regulator” for protecting its brand online for the fourth year.  Kenwood and Pioneer each won awards for “The Big Deal,” Scosche won the “Above and Beyond” award and JL Audio won for “Most Improved Program.”

Retail member awards for honors such as “Recruiter” and “Freshman Honor Roll” went to Tunes N Tint, Sound Depot & Performance, Basin Electronics, Sounds Fast, Stereo West Autotoys, Columbus Car Audio & Accessories and Audio Zoo.
