Retailers and Installers of the Year Announced by ME Magazine

Mobile Electronics magazine announced the Installer of the Year winner for 2014 as Tom Miller, co-owner of Musicar Northwest in Portland, OR (shown above with runner up winner Chris Ott, left, of Soundwaves, Tampa, FL who took home the “Trusted Tech” award).

Retailer of the Year winners were Sound FX, Lewes, DE and Tint World, Weston, FL.

AAMP of America took home the Vendor of the Year award for 2014.

DOW Electronics was named Distributor of the Year.

Car Toys was named Expediter of the Year.

Marketing Professionals won Rep Firm of the Year and JJ Langguth won Rep of the Year.

Runners up for the Retailer of the Year awards went to Extreme Audio, Mechanicsville, VA and Sound Warehouse of Salt Lake City, UT.

Tint World wins
Tint World won Retailer of the Year for a chain store (L to R) Chris Cook of Mobile Electronics Group, Paul Pirro and Charles Bonfiglio of Tint World, Dell Ellis of Del Ellis International and Solomon Daniels of Mobile Electronics Group.

Kenwood, Firstech, ADS and AAMP of America won Vendor of the Year awards for individual product categories.

Bill Porter of American Road Products won ME magazine’s first Automotive Aftermarket Safety Award.  Porter was the first to develop an aftermarket license plate holder with a backup sensor to protect children from back over accidents.
