RadioPRO RP4-CH21

CLEARWATER, FL–Pacific Accessory Corporation (PAC) is shipping a new kit in its RadioPRO line of kits that combine a steering wheel control retention kit with a radio replacement kit in one unit.

The new model works with late model Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram vehicles, letting you add an aftermarket car radio and still use the factory steering wheel controls and other features including heating and cooling controls that might be linked to the radio. Called the RP4-CH21, it eliminates the need to cut wires or program multiple interfaces.   It carries a suggested retail price of $199.95.

The new kit interfaces seamlessly with the vehicle’s computer data bus system, and it  keeps important HVAC features such as fan mode, lock rear climate controls, sync temperatures and Max-A/C. Also, the RP4-CH21 maintains key OEM functions such as RAP accessory output; data controlled outputs for speed, reverse and emergency brake, and connections for a navigation radio.

Applications for the RP4-CH21 include:

  • 2013-2014 Ram
  • 2014 Promaster
  • 2014 Durango
  • 2014 Grand Cherokee
  • 2014 Cherokee
  • 2013-2014 Dart (not compatible with the 8.4 inch UConnect system)

The RP4-CH21 works out of the box with most head unit brands and can be updated from the PAC website (www.pac-audio.com) using a PAC-UP USB adapter. It comes with a RadioPRO4 module, plug-and-play harness, SWC harness, subwoofer plug and an instruction manual.
