VOXX Electronics Corp announced the continued rollout of the 2014 Jensen Car Audio line.
The 3000, 4000, 5000 and 7000 head unit series now join the VX6020 navigation/receiver, which shipped late last year, and which Voxx says is selling as fast as it can produce it.
The 8 model lineup includes AV/navigation receivers VX7010 and VX7020 with app control for both the iPhone and Android phones. They have Bluetooth A2DP and respective 7-inch (single DIN) and 6.2-inch (double DIN) touch screens. Users can control Pandora from the touch screen. Android, Apple and BlackBerry users can also connect via Bluetooth to stream and control Pandora, SiriusXM, iHeartRadio, Aha Radio, Spotify, Slacker, TuneIn and other Internet Radio Apps.
Both units offer built-in iGo Primo navigation with Naviextras Web Support (download other countries, POI and other features). They carry a suggested retail price of $399.99 each.
The step down VX4010 single DIN and VX4020 double DIN AV receivers are similar but without built-in navigation. They have a rear-view camera input with instant-on at $279.99 each.
Voxx also offers AV receivers at $229 and a new mechless (CDless) DMX5020 with app control, Bluetooth and streaming Internet Radio similar to the higher priced models. The double DIN unit with a 6.2 inch screen has a front USB port with 1-amp charging, SD card slot, auxiliary input, and dedicated iPod connection at $279.99.
