iSimple (AAMP of America) introduced a new universal HDMI converter cable that lets you play video from smartphones or tablets on car AV systems.
At $59.95 (suggested retail price), the device called MediaLinx lets users play video, including copy-protected videos from an iPhone or Android phone or tablet. It connects to factory and aftermarket systems through RCA audio inputs, and it is HDCP certified to play just about any video format.
MediaLinx connects to an Apple Lightning Digital AV Adapter or a Micro USB to HDMI converter.
