Rosen said it has won a patent infringement case involving TMI/Vizualogic.

Rosen said U.S. Judge Gary Klausner ruled in favor of Rosen’s “approach to product development of its AV7900 and CS9000 headrest monitor systems.  In his ruling, Judge Klausner granted Rosen’s motion for summary judgment that those systems do not infringe TMI’s U.S. Patent No. 7,597,393. ”

The ruling was made on April 30, 2014 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. Rosen said the court also denied TMI’s motion to stop Rosen from selling its new systems. It said that now a trial is not necessary on patent infringement and that the ruling “removes the last of three patent infringement claims that TMI made against Rosen in 2012.”

Steve Weimar, Rosen VP Sales & Marketing, said, “Rosen prides itself in its well-recognized product development capabilities.”

TMI said it had no comment at this time.
