TEMPE, AZ. – Rockford Fosgate has appointed a manufacturer’s rep company for the first time to the southern California market, having used its own factory salesmen for that region until now. It announced that Taylor Marketing Corp. will be its representative for southern California.
Though Rockford typically works with reps, it had reserved the SoCal market as a direct territory to help it “better understand the needs of the dealer base in the southern California market as well as to learn what tools will most benefit the nationwide rep network,” it said.
President of Taylor Marketing Mike Thompson said , “I began my career as a rep in 1982 and was fortunate to have an opportunity to work with Rockford back then. After an absence of over 20 years, I’m very excited to be a part of the team once again.”
