CITY OF INDUSTRY, CA– Cadence introduced a new QRS Series line of performance speakers using high quality materials and stamped steel basket construction.
The line features black woven Kevlar cones with butyl rubber surround, for a detailed but smooth frequency response. The six speaker models also use silk dome tweeters with neodymium magnets, and crossovers with Mylar crossover capacitors for lower distortion and high power handling. And they include heavy duty screw down terminals.
The 6×9-inch model is a 3-way speaker using a ring radiator style tweeter with a 19mm dome super tweeter.
The QRS 3-way component speaker set uses a 2.5-inch neodymium midrange driver. Its crossovers feature adjustments for low pass frequency, tweeter level and tweeter polarity.
