HOLLY HILL, FL–Metra said it is offering the only car audio kit to replace the radio in a new Dodge Dart.
The 95-6517HG for double DIN and 99-6517HG for single DIN radios let you install an aftermarket radio in a 2014 Dart without the factory 8-inch touchscreen. The factory radio opening in the platform is just a quarter-inch too small to fit an aftermarket radio. Metra designed a trim panel to go over the factory dash after a little cutting to make the factory radio opening wide enough. The high gloss paint on the 6517HG’s trim panel matches the factory parts. Installers can use a 40-EU55 amplified antenna adapter and a new XSVI-6523-NAV AXXESS interface for a plug and play installation.
