VAIS Technology is offering a new in-car interface that allows you to browse your songs on the radio screen when connected to an iPhone or iPod over Bluetooth.
The SoundLinQ3 SL3B lets a Toyota or Lexus radio control your iPhone and allows easy browsing on the screen through Playlist, Artist, Album, Genre, Audiobook, and Podcast on the 5th generation navigation systems from the car makers. (Older navigation systems will allow browsing by song title and playlist).
Drivers can also use the steering wheel controls for music browsing.
The interface also displays the song and title information from an Android phone over Bluetooth and you get basic controls over the phone from the radio.
The new SoundLinq interface also has improved quality Bluetooth so there is no downgrade in audio quality.
The VAIS interface may be installed with a plug and play harness for 2001 and newer Toyota and Lexus models both with and without a navigation system
It also supports apps like Pandora, TuneIn Radio, Rdio, Slacker, Spotify, Livio Radio, and iHeartRadio on an iOS or Android paired device.
