Dual is offering an aggressive line replacement this year with 14 new in-dash radios that include advanced technology such as HDMI/MHL smartphone mirroring, and gesture control.
Included is an in-dash AV receiver with a super large 10.1-inch flip out screen with LED back lighting and Hi-Definition display. The single DIN receiver, DV1014BH, lets you view movies and apps from a smartphone as it is one of three new AV/decks from Dual with HDMI/MHL to mirror video on a phone onto the larger radio screen. Dual calls this feature “DisplayLink” and it works with both Apple and Android phones.
The two other AV receivers with HDMI/MHL are the DV614BH and DV714 BH, which are also Bluetooth models.
Of the 14 new Dual Electronics models this year, half are AV receivers, with a new user interface and large icons. These are joined by 5 new CD receivers and two new CD-less models.

- DV704i – Single DIN DVD multimedia receiver with 7” digital LED backlit high-definition display, direct USB control for iPod/iPhone devices and SD card input.
- DV704Bi – Single DIN DVD multimedia receiver with 7” digital LED backlit high-definition display, built-in Bluetooth, direct USB control for iPod/iPhone devices and SD card input.
- DV714BH – Single DIN DVD multimedia receiver with 7” digital LED backlit high-definition LCD, built-in Bluetooth, DisplayLink feature for Android and Apple smartphones, and USB and SD card inputs.
- DV1014BH – Single DIN DVD multimedia receiver with 10.1” digital LED backlit high-definition display, built-in Bluetooth including support for PBAP (phone book) profile, DisplayLink feature for Android and Apple smartphones, and USB and SD card inputs.
- DV604i – Double DIN DVD multimedia receiver with 6.2” digital LED backlit high-definition display, direct USB control for iPod/iPhone devices and microSD card input.
- DV604Bi – Double DIN DVD multimedia receiver with 6.2” digital LED backlit high-definition display, built-in Bluetooth, direct USB control for iPod/iPhone devices and microSD card input.
- DV614BH– Double DIN DVD multimedia receiver with 6.2” digital LED backlit high-definition display, built-in Bluetooth, DisplayLink feature for Android and Apple smartphones, and USB and SD card inputs.
Dual also greatly expanded its Axxera amplifier lineup in 2014 from three models last year to 17 this year.
