VOXX (formerly Audiovox Electronics) is launching under Jensen a new “DUB” car audio line aimed at urban car enthusiasts who follow the popular DUB magazine.
The line will debut at CES this week and will include amplifiers, speakers and subwoofers. DUB created the design of the products and Audiovox developed the audio.
According to VOXX Electronics President Tom Malone, the products “give the retailer something that is not available to them from DUB up to this point.” In addition it targets “a demographic that is strong” for many 12 volt retailers.
The line will start to roll out in April and will be promoted in DUB ads, TV shows and at DUB events.
DUB includes four digital amplifiers; a 2-channel, 4-channel and two mono amplifiers at power ratings from 400 to 2000 watts at suggested retail prices from $89 to $229.
Also included are a 10-inch and 12-inch subwoofers ($49 and $69) and five speaker models ranging from a 4 inch two-way at $39 to a 6 x 9 three-way at $89.99.
