SiriusXM updated its dock and play Onyx radio with the new Onyx Plus that is able to receive extra channels via SiriusXM 2.0 including more Latino and rock stations.
The Onyx Plus also offers advanced features such as TuneStart and Tune Mix.
It can be added to just about any car and can also be shuttled to a home dock for satellite radio in the home or office. Or it can be transferred between cars.
It is available at Best Buy and on shop.sirius.com at $99.99 suggested retail price.
The Onyx Plus has a large color display that lets you view album art. With TuneStart you can automatically start songs from the beginning when tuning into a station. With TuneMix you can create a music channel that is a blend of your favorite channels.
Some other features new to Onyx: you can scan and select songs that you’ve already played on one of your Smart Favorite channels. And you can pause, rewind, and replay live satellite radio plus go back and replay music, news, talk, or sports segments on all Smart Favorite channels.
