Audiofrog is a new upscale brand aimed at car audio specialists developed by Andy Wehmeyer, former Global Product Line Manager for car audio at Harman.
The company will offer subwoofers and speakers initially, with amplifiers and signal processors to follow. “We’re developing industry leading products and we’re going to back those up with industry leading dealer support. We’re not into cost cutting.” said Wehmeyer.
The line will focus on sound quality first “with some features that make cosmetic integration with the vehicle much easier,” he said.
“What’s lacking in the market is helpfulness. There’s a huge opportunity for an organization that gets it. I’m confident that we have the beginnings of the right team and the right plan.” said Wehmeyer.
Products will be designed in California with distribution in North and South America and Asia.
The initial line should be available in the first half of next year.
