Car stereo buying/marketing group MESA, (Mobile Electronics Specialists of America) appointed Andrew Geisheimer as the new Director of MESA Gold, the group’s new membership tier.

Geisheimer was a West Coast Regional Manager—Retail for SiriusXM for 10 years and prior to that a Product Manager for Kenwood for three years.

“Andrew comes to us with a long tenure within the 12 Volt industry and brings a wealth of knowledge in sales, management, and training alongside his great understanding of 12 Volt businesses.  His natural ability to connect with people and his strong background within the industry will no doubt be a huge asset to us as we grow our M.E.S.A. Gold Membership,” said Ryan Gunter, MESA Executive Director.

As head of MESA Gold, he will lead a new effort by the group to attract retailer members in the $700,000 to $1.8 million annual volume sector.

MESA currently has 47 members with 141 stores representing $158 million in sales in its regular membership (who have annual volumes of over $1.8 million).

It recently opened up the new tier to lower volume members in hopes of adding 65 to 100 dealers, who will receive the same benefits as original members.
