OLATHE, KS—Garmin announced its first portable GPS device for RVs. The model RV 760LMT, with a large, 7-inch screen, can also work with a new Garmin backup camera to automatically show the view behind the vehicle when the vehicle goes into reverse.
A wireless back up camera is available from Garmin at $149.99 to work with the RV 760LMT.
For RV’ers, the RV 760LMT has a built in directory for RV Parks & Services. It also offers routing that can avoid roads with RV restrictions.
It also has voice activated navigation, free lifetime traffic and map updates and active lane guidance.
The portable navigation device (PND) also includes Bluetooth so it can connect to a cellphone to offer additional services such as weather updates. It also allows hands free calling.
The Garmin RV 760LMT is expected to be available this summer at a suggested retail price of $399.99.
