ANN ARBOR, MI–Brandmotion announced two new rear vision kits to cover select 2013 Toyota cars and trucks equipped with factory installed audio displays. The kits, 9002-7630 and 9002-8530, are designed to add either an aftermarket camera or factory OEM camera to the system, respectively. The kits enable the factory installed 6.1-inch screen to show a view behind the vehicle when backing up.

The 9002-8530 (MSRP $195.95) features a new OEM CCD camera that provides superior contrast, depth of field and nighttime illumination. Specifically designed for Toyota applications, the camera features a newly designed lip-mount bracket that enables simpler installation. Vehicle-matched connectors and a 26-foot wiring harness ensure a trouble-free, plug-and play installation. The 9002-8530 will ship in April.
The 9002-7630 (MSRP $175.95; now shipping) includes a quality CMOS-equipped camera that can be mounted on a bracket hidden behind the license plate or in a custom location with the attached low-profile universal bracket. The 33-foot wiring harness allows the kit to fit any vehicle application, and an RCA-style connector plugs into the radio to provide the camera view. On-screen colored parking lines assist the driver in estimating the distance to an obstruction, a feature that can be enabled or disabled during installation.
