Tint World, the car audio and auto detailing franchise chain, is entering the expeditor business with small franchise shops located at car dealerships.
The shops, called Tint World Express, are store-within-a-store locations that let a car dealer offer window tinting and car audio and electronics.
The car dealer becomes a franchisee and Tint World provides in-store marketing materials, so that if the dealer chooses, he has a mini Tint World shop in the store. Or Tint World will customize marketing materials for each dealership.

One of the first auto dealers in the U.S. to open a Tint World Express shop is GMP Motors in Sparrows Point, MD, said Tint World.
There are already mini Tint World franchise shops located within two Meineke Muffler locations found in Sunrise and Weston, FL.
“You walk in the front door of the dealership and inside there’s a Tint World within the store. So now, if I buy a car, the dealer can offer window tinting, car audio and package it into the deal,” said VP Dealer Operations Paul Pirro.
Tint World Franchise President/CEO Charles Bonfiglio said, “The Tint World Express franchise works well with car dealerships because Tint World provides the dealership a complete in-house aftermarket accessory department that handles sales and installation with professional National Accessory Service Brand.”
As of December 2012, Tint World had 21 stores, with plans for 13 more locations in 2013.

the displays will end up near the restrooms or near the parts department. this effort won’t allow margins for the dealership to profit-just something else “throw in to make the deal.” great press though.
VERY smart and a golden opportunity. The #1 reasons car dealers don’t like aftermarket products is dependability (being able to count on OEM performance and NO consumer issues) and warranty issues. Done right, this is a win/win.
