Pioneer’s latest in-dash navigation systems, the AVIC-X850BT and the AVIC-X950BH, are now shipping to stores this month, offering technology including AppRadio Mode for on screen operation of popular apps on smartphone.
Both systems provide built-in route guidance with turn-by-turn directions, DVD/CD/MP3/WMA playback, a large 7- or 6.1-inch touchscreen display and easy-to-use graphical user interface, and Bluetooth connectivity. It also offers HD Radio.
The AVIC-X850BT and the AVIC-X950BH are available for a suggested price of $800 and $950 respectively.
Additionally, Pioneer said it now offers free Pandora Internet radio in more than 20 in-dash car audio receivers, starting at $90, providing full control and playback of Pandora radio via an iPhone or Android smartphone.
