American International launched the first kits to allow a radio replacement in a Chevy Sonic while retaining OnStar and steering wheel controls, said the company.
The new all-in-one custom dash kits for the 2012-2013 Chevrolet Sonic are the models GMK315DAX and GMK315BX. They come with a module and connecting harnesses to allow the installer to replace a radio while retaining factory features.
In addition to preserving OnStar and steering wheel controls, the kit also retains Bluetooth, the factory amplified system, powered antenna and more.
They ship pre-programmed out of the box and are compatible with most aftermarket head units both single and double DIN.
They are available in panel colors “Dark Argent” and“Jet Black.”
