Subaru is recalling more than 47,000 vehicles because the engines may start on their own, reported the Associated Press Thursday.
If a user drops his key fob, it can cause certain Subaru vehicles to remote start unintentionally.
The problem affects some Outback and Legacy vehicles from 2010 to 2013 model years. It also includes certrain Impreza models (2012 and 2013) and some XV Crosstrek vehicles (2013).
Subaru dealers will replace the key fobs at no charge, said the AP.
