Rydeen at Autorama

SACRAMENTO, CA—

Rydeen exhibited at the 63rd Sacramento Autorama car show this month to display its car audio line including a new Android DVD/radio and to kick off a new national training tour.

The tour will be led by new national trainer Rob Haynes.

The Autorama show at the Cal Expo, included more than 450 classic and custom cars plus motorcycles and other specialty vehicles.

Among the highlights at the Rydeen exhibition was the DV638A double DIN Android AV radio  sporting a capacitive screen with touch and swipe capability.

The device is essentially a tablet in a car radio chassis, affording access to Facebook, email and other apps using Android 2.2  modified to  add typical car modes such as DVD and an equalizer.  It relies on a smartphone only for a wireless connection.

The unit is a full DVD/CD double DIN receiver that runs on a 1GHz processor with 4GB of memory.  It also has 4 volt outputs.

It will carry a suggested price of $699.
