Car audio speaker and amplifier supplier German Maestro has developed a 90-second video aimed at the consumer when he is standing on the retail floor.
Taking advantage of the “showrooming” trend, German Maestro is encouraging consumers to scan an in-store tag with a QR code that, instead of giving consumers a price, launches a video.
The video introduces the viewer to German Maestro and the value of the installing retailer.
German Maestro USA President Ray Windsor said, “Consumers are going to use their smart phones and the Internet to gather information. This program provides consumers with valuable decision making information that encourages a focus on the German Maestro retailer.”
Each class of German Maestro loudspeakers has been assigned a branded QR Code. The QR Code will be shown in a placard that retailers can place near a German Maestro speaker.
