Audiovox Electronics (VOXX) has extended its back seat tablet-mounts for the car to include a line for the Apple iPad Mini and for the iPad 4th generation .
At CES, the company is showing prototype kits to ship in Q2, as the iPad mini is expected to prove a popular add-on device for the car.
Separately, Audiovox said it has streamlined ordering and shipping for retailers of its custom headrests with built-in monitor/DVD players.
It has moved production of its 7102 slimline headrests to Florida and now offers higher levels of in-stock availability, it said.
The company is offering same day shipping for orders received by 4 pm EST except for non-stock orders, which ship the following day.
