InSeam is a new device that turns your smartphone into a full automotive Bluetooth add-on kit that is controlled by the factory steering wheel controls.

Offered by iSimple (Aamp of America), InSeam works with any Bluetooth enabled smartphone or tablet.
In Seam lets you control music, calls, messaging, Internet radio, navigation, email and many apps by the steering wheel controls and by voice.
The device combines a steering wheel control interface with an FM modulator, windproof microphone and A2DP Bluetooth module.
You get notifications of incoming texts and emails as you drive (as you do normally from your phone) but they are amplified through the radio.
InSeam is compatible with Android, iOS and Blackberry smartphones and tablets.
Suggested retail price is $169.95.
Another advanced accessory from iSimple is the Connect—a USB digital version of its analog GateWay car kit system. The Connect adds full Bluetooth audio streaming to the car and it works with any Android or iOS device including the iPhone 5.
The iSimple Connect started shipping in late October at $229. It gives you either a direct audio or Bluetooth audio connection to phones and tablets with command and control. You also get 5 inputs to connect other devices to the car radio. It also let you connect a USB drive to the radio.
Also new are GateWay kits for Mazda and Ford.
