PowerBass will introduce at CES next week its broadest new lineup since 2006 with over 40 new models of car amplifiers and speakers.
Products include 2 new amplifier lines that use new International Rectifier (IR) full range Class D technology.
Many of the amps are “mini” models. “We are fully embracing compact and mini amplifiers with two new lines on display at the show”, said VP Sales & Marketing Robin McNeal.
The 4-model XMA amplifier series includes a 5-channel, 4-channel and two 2-channel models. These lead with the XMA-2160IR 160 watt x 2 (2-ohm) model that measures about 7 by 7 inches and 2 inches high. It has a suggested retail price of $239.99 The 5-channel version is the XMA-5670IR, rated at 160 watt x 4 (2-ohm) + 320 watt x 1 (2-ohm) measuring about 12 by 7 inches at $499.99.
Also new are three subwoofer lines including a redesigned 2XL subwoofer optimized for small sealed enclosures and ported enclosures. These are joined by two new coaxial lines—some of which feature 2-ohm impedance and are compatible with most OEM premium systems, and two amplified enclosures—featuring 10 and 12-inch powered subwoofers in vented boxes.
The items will be displayed at CES in the North Hall booth #920

Very excited to see this stuff at CES. These guys have a great selection of gear that fits better than some of the solutions from the biggest names in our Biz. It’s nice to see a smaller upstart name doing so many things!
