CTB Wireless, a distributor of handsfree car kits and other cellphone-related accessories, is looking to set up a rep network for certain car kit lines it stocks.
CTB aims to expand its overall car kit business in the U.S. and, grow, in particular, a line of Canadian-based SmoothTalker car kits.
CTB is the largest U.S. distributor for SmoothTalker, which makes Bluetooth as well as non-Bluetooth handsfree car kits.
One of SmoothTalker’s newest products is a non-Bluetooth kit aimed at military personnel, who are not permitted to use Bluetooth due to its lack of security. The $699 kit includes a universal charging cradle with a 3 watt signal booster and antenna connection.
