“We are proud that a reputable distributor like David Lee Marketing has decided to represent the Mobileye product line,” said Isaac Litman, Mobileye CEO. “Their addition to our ever-growing family of distributors, expeditors and retailers will make it that much easier for drivers seeking the premier collision avoidance system.  With 72 percent of car accidents caused by driver inattention within three seconds before a collision, Mobileye’s OEM and aftermarket solutions are becoming ‘must haves’ for everyone interested in protecting their families and those being socially responsible”.

Mobileye’s flagship Mobileye 560 ™collision avoidance and mitigation system incorporates a unique set of driver safety and convenience applications now available in an aftermarket solution. The Mobileye 560 features a single “smart” camera housed with Mobileye’s proprietary EyeQ™ chip and algorithms. It is easily installed on the front windshield inside the vehicle. In addition to a high-quality audible alert, the solution also features a visual display to assist the driver.

Driver assistance and safety functions on the Mobileye 560 include:

  • Mobileye Headway Monitoring and Warning: Helps the driver keep a safe following distance from the vehicle ahead and alerts the driver when following too closely
  • Mobileye Forward Collision Warning: Alerts the driver of an imminent collision with a vehicle or motorcycle—up to 2.7 seconds before a collision—providing enough time for the driver to react by changing course or applying the brakes
  • Mobileye Pedestrian Collision Warning: Notifies the driver of an impending collision with a pedestrian or bicyclist
  • Mobileye Lane Departure Warning: Warns the driver when there is an unintentional deviation from the driving lanes
  • Mobileye Intelligent High-Beam Control: Automatically raises and lowers the high-beams without inconveniencing oncoming or preceding traffic

Mobileye Speed Limit Indication: Detects and classifies various speed signs and provides the driver with a reminder of the recently detected signs. This allows the driver to conveniently observe the various speed limit signs along his route.
