The new MINIKIT Neo has a vibration sensor so it automatically activates when you get in the car.

You no longer need to press a button before issuing a voice command, so it’s fully handsfree.

Parrot claims, “A miniaturized processor (SiP6) makes the MINIKIT Neo the smallest and most sophisticated hands-free kit on the market.”

It’s compatible with all Bluetooth phones available on the market, and it verbally guides you through the pairing connection, says Parrot.   It works with two phone simultaneously and also with NFC (Near Field Communication) phones.

Parrot provides an app you can set to respond to incoming texts as you’re driving. You can write a message before entering the car such as “I  can’t receive texts now.” The app also helps you  locate the car and set parking meter reminders.

The device  gives you 6 months of battery life in standby mode and 10 hours of communication.  It will be available at $99.99 in September.

Users may also subscribe to the Text-Friendly service that lets you access your emails and texts completely by voice. Once you are registered, you can dial the Text Friendly service and have your emails and texts read aloud to you as well as compose emails and texts.
