Mazda is the latest car maker to announce plans to integrate Pandora into the car radio.
Starting this fall Mazda radios will control Pandora functions such as thumbs-up, thumbs-down and track skip, when an iPhone is paired with the radio.
Pandora Chief Marking Officer, Simon Fleming-Wood said, “With more than 100 million registered smartphone users and partnerships with 19 automotive brands, Pandora is well on its way to becoming a standard part of the in-vehicle experience.”
To date, Pandora has also announced partnerships with 7 aftermarket manufacturers. And more than 50 car models with Pandora ready car radios are now at dealerships with more expected during 2012, said the company, Wednesday.
