Daytona Beach, Florida – IASCA will host a 3X Bass Boxing and IdBL World Record event at the Slamology show in Indianapolis in June.
“We are very excited to be part of Slamology and it’s all thanks to the hard work and determination of Denise Varmatos, our mid west Director.” said Moe Sabourin, Director of Worldwide Operations for IASCA
“Donnie Babb and the Slamology team share the same core values IASCA does; their goal is to promote anything related to the automotive and music industries and ours is to promote the mobile electronics and music industries. They have built an event that is second to none in the area that has become a staple in the automotive community and we are proud to be a part of it,” he added.
The event is hosted by Gauge Magazine (www.gaugemagazine.com). Now in its 13th year, the magazine is read by millions of custom auto enthusiasts annually. The 2012 Slamology is the 9th annual consecutive event and every year the event grows by leaps and bounds. The event will certainly draw thousands of spectators and competitors from all across the country.
The IASCA portion of the show will feature a 3X (Territorial Key Event) IASCA Bass Boxing and IdBL competition produced by Denise Varmatos. The competition will begin at 9:00am on Saturday, June 16th and Sunday June 17th. Competition will end at 1:00pm on Sunday June 17th with the awards ceremony to follow.
The event has a unique entry fee structure; the entry fee of $60 allows entrants to compete in any or all of the events offered, including the car show, IASCA 3X competition and/or the dB Drag 3X competition.
The event is being held at the Lucas Oil Raceway in Indianapolis, Indiana and incorporates a car show, a music festival, car audio competitions and many fun activities geared to a fun family atmosphere. The Raceway is home to many of racing’s top series, including NHRA and ARCA.
“Since our IASCA INAC Finals satellite location event in Lima, Ohio, we’ve seen the passion of car audio competitors in the area, and it’s all thanks to Denise Varmatos and her team.” Sabourin continued to say “She has close to 50 IASCA competitions planned for the area in 2012 and the Slamology event will be the premier event to attend and compete at for all IASCA competitors.”
