Kicker (Stillwater Designs) is now shipping new Comp subwoofers in 2-ohm versions and with dual voice coil options.
This is the first time Kicker has offered Comp woofers with dual voice coils in 15- and 12-inch sizes, according to the company.
Kicker says its subwoofers include “the stiffest injection-molded cone with flex-killing, 360-degree back bracing for distortion elimination, the newest coil-cooling perimeter venting, high-temp voice-coil wire, and Spiralead tinsel-lead technology for ultimate durability.”
The new Comp models come in 8-, 10-, 12- and 15-inch sizes with power handling ratings from 100 to 300 watts RMS.
