Pioneer’s spring car audio models are starting to ship to retailers this week including the AppRadio2, which acts as a controller for both Android AND iPhone smartphones.
The AppRadio 2.0 provides additional improvements over the original AppRadio (for the iPhone) including a larger screen, at 7-inches and compatibility with more apps.
According to the company’s Facebook post on Friday, March 16, Pioneer’s shipment schedule is as follows (with dates adjusted to reflect current week):
- AVIC-X940BT: Shipped. Should be arriving to retailers now.
- AVIC-Z140BH: Shipped, but a few days behind the AVIC-X940BT. Should be arriving to retailers early/mid this week.
- DEH-80PRS: Shipping early this week.
- AVH-P8400BH: Currently in final QC. Anticipated update this week.
- AppRadio2: Currently in final QC. Anticipated update late this week.
