TEMPE, Ariz. – March 12, 2012 – Rockford Corporation and European partner Audiotec Fischer announce that the new Brax NOX4 DSP Class AB amplifier is now shipping.
“Due to the NOX amplifier’s design and its sophisticated circuit board layout, the Nox4 DSP redefines ‘world class’,” explained Jake Braaten, Rockford director of product development. “The NOX4 DSP is made without crossovers and filter sections, while providing a wide adjustment range via the integrated 6-channel Audio-DSP. It not only configures the four internal channels, but also the two line-outputs. It must be heard to be truly appreciated.”
In order to completely eliminate power differences and manufacturing tolerances, only hand-selected and matched transistors are utilized in NOX amplifiers. The switching power supply of the Nox4 DSP is a combination of state-of-the-art technology and precisely selected components. In order to control voltage fluctuations, an external power stabilizer can be directly connected to the power supply. Moreover, the gold-plated terminals allow for cables up to 50mm² in order to compliment the power supply.
Additional NOX4 DSP features include:
- digitally controlled input sensitivity level adjustments
- high-end DSP, including two DSP-controlled line outputs
- control input for connecting DSP accessories
- high-end A/D and D/A signal converters
- MicroSD input for uploading preconfigured setups
