In Car Experts (ICE) announced it is partnering with BURY Technologies, a German-based supplier of Bluetooth car products.
BURY offers upscale Bluetooth car kits at higher price points. The kits include features such as color touch screens and voice activation. Some also read back your email and text messages (in some phones).
BURY kits range from $149 to $399. They are updatable to work with new phones as they are released and Bury claims to support as many phones as Parrot.
“Dealers are suffering from product price points dropping. That’s why, for the group, it’s so important,” said ICE’s Rob Elliott. “It took us a while to find the product…It’s very, very high quality. It has a German engineering feel to it. And it has a touch screen operation not seen on any Bluetooth products,” he said.
BURY is distributed in the U.S. by PTP Technology based in Newark, Delaware.
