Directed Electronics released a YouTube video showing off its near limitless range with a car in Brooklyn, NY getting a remote start from Melbourne, Australia, 10,355 miles away.
The company said it set the world record for distance in remote starting a car. “Reaching this milestone should give our customers an enhanced sense of security and control knowing they can communicate with their cars from across town or while traveling on another continent,” said Mike Simmons, executive VP of Directed.
