Vista, CA – Directed Electronics is returning to MERA’s KnowledgeFest in Dallas, Texas August 28th through the 30th.
Directed Marketing Manager Christopher Fierek will represent the company along with Directed Tech Trainer and MECP Master Installer Andrew “Andy” Hartshorne, who will be conducting three trainings:
• Sunday – Grapevine 6 – 5:00-6:00PM – Xpresskit
• Monday – Grapevine 4-6 – 10AM – 11:30AM – Discovering Wires & Signals
• Monday – Grapevine 6 – 5:00-6:00PM – Xpresskit
On Monday at 10 AM, Andy will team up with NAV-TV’s Derek Schmiedl to present “Discovering Wires & Signals” which will cover Analog vs. Digital, CAN bus data and CAN bus errors, voltage drop testing, true multiplex circuits and video signal degradation.
Sunday’s and Monday’s 5 PM trainings will focus on Xpresskit interfaces, including how the interface module works on the data stream during remote start, new module ID event history and troubleshooting, comparing VIN for firmware compatibility, configurable D2D messages and LED diagnostics for error correction.
